Lenses

Plastic Lenses (CR-39)
Basic plastic lenses. Lightweight and very easily tintable. More impact resistant than glass.

Polycarbonate
Thinnest, lightest and safest on the market. Up to 30% thinner, lighter than plastic. It is virtually unbreakable and good for all users, especially for active children or adults whose lifestyle demands extra protection.

High Index
This high-density plastic is 50% thinner and lighter than the conventional plastic lens. These thin lenses will enable you to choose from a wider selection of frame styles.

Glass Lenses
These lenses even though thin and not easily scratched, are not recommended. They can shatter easily and are heavy. They are available clear, tinted, and photochromatic (change as light changes)

Progressive (no-line) Bifocals
No one will know you are wearing bifocals! Not only do these lenses eliminate the bifocal line, they allow you to see close-up, far away, and everything in between such as your computer screen.

Bifocal and Trifocals
Traditional lined lenses available in a variety of widths to meet your lifestyle needs.

Sunsensors/Instashades®
These plastic or polycarbonate lightweight lenses are light sensitive, so they adjust as the light changes. One pair of eyeglasses with these lenses has the flexibility to be worn either inside or outside. Great for sunglasses. These lenses are activated by ultra violet light, therefore these lenses may not be suitable sunglasses for driving.

Polarized Lenses
This lens absorbs glare causing light. The ultimate in comfort and protection for the outdoor enthusiast. These lenses are ideal for water sports, snow conditions and driving. When bright light is reflected, polarized lenses combat this problem with maximum UV and incomparable glare reduction.

Lense Treatments

Anti-Reflective Treatment
This coating virtually eliminates glare on your eyeglass lenses. It is used by many TV personalities. It will make your lenses look invisible and are most effective for night driving and computer work. Helps to reduce eye strain.

Edge Polish
Gives your lenses a thinner lighter look. Edge Polish removes the "frosted" look from the lens edge, creating the appearance of thinner lenses. A must for rimless and semi-rimless frame styles.

Scratch Coating
Maximizes your scratch resistance. In fact, it's guaranteed. If your lenses become scratched within a year, we will replace them with a minimal co-pay.

UV Protection
This treatment blocks out 100% of UVA and UVB rays that are the single largest cause of cataracts.

Tint
Allow us to tint your plastic lenses to reduce the glare of the sun, tone down bright lights for sensitive eyes or to simply enhance the appearance of your glasses. A wide selection of tints are available.
